2012 Buck (remounted and back on the wall)
« on: December 11, 2015, 09:50:16 PM »
Shot this buck in 2012 and had it mounted.  Long story short the original mount was sub par at best.  I couldn't live with it on my wall so last year I ask for help from forum members.  Dr. Death answered my call and sold me a cape.  Well here is the final product which I am very pleased with.

Huge thanks to Dr. Death and Tru to Life Taxidermy (Jeff Reeves)!!

Sorry for the cell phone pics, I will try and get better pics up tomorrow.

Very nice, i think anyone would be happy with that mount.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Beautiful mount!  I love all the detail work and forage that's sweet!  I have a 3 point blackie I got when I was 12 that I'd love to have done like that but with some maples which he was standing in when I got him.

Yeah I had the habitat scene match (for the most part) the area and time this buck was shot.  Fall colors in a pine forest.
