General Season - http://wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/game/harvest/2006/elk_general.htm

There is also a special permit section - http://wdfw.wa.gov/wlm/game/harvest/2006/permits/elk.htm

I believe the information is also available from the Go Hunt mapping tool under "Queries" --> "Harvest Data". At least it is for deer I know that...

I think that was the sort of info you were asking for. If not... I sure wasted some time trying to help  :chuckle:

No wasted time at either end.  You saved me some time hunting for that type of link.

Thanks a million

Looking at those things most of the time just pisses me off.  the way they refer to 6% as a "success" ratio.  I wouldn't exactly call any of the harvest - to- hunter rates as a "success".  I might be willing to refer to something in the 20% or higher catagory as a "success ratio", but not 6-8%.  That's more of an example of the poor game management in this state that a hunter success ratio.
