Successful Year for the Hughes Boys

What a great year! My dad (71 years old and still backpacks in with us), brother and I harvested 5 bucks and 1 bear in both Washington (2 bucks, 1 bear) and Montana (3 bucks)...all 4 pointers (at least on one side), all public land. I had to crop a couple of the photos because it would give away the area and none of you are welcome there

Fantastic! Looks like you had a great year, and the smiles say it all. Only thing better than success, is success with the family. Some nice mule deer you guys took, and a good looking black bear. Congradulations!!!

I recognize that spot! Cropping didn't help at all!
Couldn't resist. Great bucks!

Yeah, that was meant to be a joke...the winking, smiley face is a little small to see though. There are a lot of other parties where we hunt and we have enjoyed getting to know them. I know that all are welcome on public land and I also know that we were the "new guys" to the area when we started...except for my dad who hunted there about 40 years ago. The area is just a little full so out of courtesy to the other groups up there I didn't want to give it away by our photos. But if you know where it's at, you're more than welcome to join us!
