I've seen barbed wire stretched across low spots and wrapped around saplings out there before. Not part of a fence. Placed across the small trails out there. :bash:

It wasn't waterlogged, it was pinned with a rock. It was right off the parking lot on the south side, not likely that it floated there.

I've seen this from anti types before.  Wires strung across dirt bike trials at neck level and boards with nails protruding hidden under some dirt.  Don't expect any action or help from leos they will just excuse it away just like some on this forum.
