Bigbuck's First Deer
«

Hi everyone just wanted to show off and talk about my first deer, it was a three point with eye guards- whitetail that I shot in Idaho last month during Thanksgiving break.
We hunted hard in the mountains for three days and I passed on some does and two real small bucks hoping I would be able to take a bigger buck. On our last day of hunting we decided to stay close to the house and hunt in the field at my cousin's house. After watching a few deer walk into the field I noticed a buck heading towards the field. A car drove by and spooked him into the field. I put my scope on his chest and pulled the trig. He dropped immediately and I had my first deer ever. I was so stoked, we gutted it and took it to the butcher. I'm doing a European mount and can't wait for next year!!

Cool. Pretty optimistic with the forum name but it looks like it paid off!
