Taking photo's of wildlife in the winter has got to be one of the greatest things I've done. They always seem to be more willing to sit and wait for you. Don't wanna burn any unnecessary energy!

I honestly go to a lot more long distance stuff.   I try to not disturb them at all.  That's probably a different mindset than most.   You'll probably see a degradation in pics as I start shouting from afar with doublets, through slopes, and cropping.

Yes, it does change things.  I'm glad for RAW too, because whitebalance gets thrown all over the place.

I'm not a great photographer but I found it very easy to get quality photo's out of a Panasonic Lumix. I thought it was funny that you told me before about using a pocket size Lumix camera. That was the easiest point and shoot camera I ever owned. Your photo's always amaze me! Thanks Bone! :tup:

thanks fore the pics Bone, When you are shooting longer ranges do you digiscope through a spotter or run a big lense?
