Have you thought about training yourself?

Are you training for upland or waterfowl?  Andy Fontenot is in Centralia, and is good for waterfowl.

I have bought a couple books and dvds and she is learning well but i want some assistance with casting and hand signals. Definitely not going send her away from training.

Second that for Matt Tuttle... He's up in Battle Ground. He has helped me with training both of my chocolates.

Where in Vancouver are you at?

+1 for Andy. Its who I train with. PM if you have questions. Heard good things about Tuttle but no personal experience with him. He may be more willing to take you on as an hourly client also.

Butch Higgins in Cathlamet is great. He has trained 2 of my dogs and runs at the National level. Great guy. Google him and check him out.

Yes Butch is in the SW. Moved out to Cathlamet 3 years ago.

Was in Rainier, OR for 10 years and before that Longview.

I dont know if you have found anyone yet but my dad has been training with butch for as long as i can remember. Butch does a great job and has taken many dogs to the master nationals over the years. Not trying to take anything away from any of the other trainers out there but butch is a great guy and does a great job!
