Wolf Down in Kazakhstan
« on: December 23, 2015, 03:32:38 PM »
The article and video is cut and pasted from Live Leak.com

This is the shocking moment a grinning hunter lifted up a dying wolf by its ears and forced it to pose for a photograph.
In footage, which has emerged from eastern Kazakhstan, the hunter can be seen grabbing the stricken animal who has collapsed to the floor.

Blood from the bullet that struck the wolf can also be seen staining the fur on its hind legs.

The wild animal then tries to fight back as it writhes around in the hunter's hand and even attempts to bite him.

But despite its best efforts, the hunter persists in pulling the wolf by the ears in order to get the trophy shot.

The man is dressed in traditional Kazakh hunting dress and smiles proudly while holding up his kill.

Eventually he forces the animal to the ground and then appears to strangle it with its bare hands to make sure it is dead.

The hunter has been identified as Erzhan Aga.

I havent watched the video myself. Because I cant see this kind of evilness and cruelty against animals / wolves. But hunters are truely the worst of humanity. Disgusting lowlifes who dont deserve to breathe. The wolf is so much more honorable than him. RIP poor wolf.

Ammo costs money, those people truly live a subsistence life. More human than what wolves do to it prey.

The second video of a tame wolf is crazy, hope it never decides he is little red riding hood.  :chuckle:

Except that him strangling it is total conjecture, he forces it to the ground by the neck as the video ends.  Also, no evidence of any photography other than the video itself.  Only shocking to the excessively civilized, who buy their meat in clean slices sandwiched between plastic wrap and Styrofoam (you know, the kind where no animals were harmed).
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Almost,
His not dressed as traditional hunter, most likely it was special hunt order from desperate farmer. Wolf its is big problem back there treating life stocks. Once in couple of years government have to be involve in decreasing wolf numbers this includes helicopters, trucks and other equipment and some military personnel, hunters on hire.
That's how that kind of hunt look like https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cAFHgPvHmDA

Wow.  I am very surprised.  I would have never imagined a bird could take down a wolf.  A fox, perhaps.

The Live Leak OP title was a paragraph, so I kept it simple. Feel free to offer your suggestions and I will change it. I could really careless. I happened to run across it and thought I would post it. Merry Christmas!

OP:  Are these your words? Or part of a cut/paste grab from the article?  You should put the cut/paste in quote marks and attribute it to the article so people following this thread aren't confused about what is yours and what is from the article.

It may prove to be the cheapest wolf management plan around. Eagles gotta eat! It could be part of the natural cycle of life.

I thought I read somewhere we paid over $800k for a "facilitator" to just talk wolf management  :dunno: :dunno:
