Taught me all I needed to start hunting. He was with me when I shot the first elk my family ever got, I was with him when he shot his first elk (cow), and helped pack out his last elk (5X7 westside)

Maybe a good idea to start a log of all the great times you shared with him. You will remember things over the coming months you have likely not thought of in years. Special times and memories will last forever when written down and shared with others.

Thanks all for your support. Dad had dementia/Alzheimer the last couple years. He is in a much better place now. Today was a roller coaster of emotions, but I'm doing OK. The rest of the family seems to be OK also. We all gathered for Christmas today.

I lost it with the bosun whistle. Just tanked at taps.

Like some one said, taps is like a piece of your heart is ripped right out of your body.....RIP dad!

I missed the turn into the church yesterday when MN missed the field goal. We think dad nudged the ball to miss.

Go Hawks! Dad had season tickets to the King dome... last games I have seen live

We were just above the nose bleed area (7 rows from the top) but it was the 40 yard line
