Australia water buffalo and scrub bull
« on: December 25, 2015, 11:23:18 AM »
Make sure 2016 will be the best year by starting out booking an adventure in the outback in Australia for these beasts for bow or rifle you choose. This is a dream hunt of mine for many years #shootingstixsafari

Hunts start in April to October every year I have 4 day water buffalo hunts for 5,000 and 7 day hunt for 8,000 USD. Bow and rifle hunts are available which are separate so bow hunters are not chasing buffalo that have been hunted hard with rifle to be extremely spooky for the bowhunters

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

And why would anyone want to shoot one?  :dunno:

s

They shoot them because there are too many feral donkeys so for a client the donkeys and pigs are free and you can shoot as many as you can while hunting buffalo or if you tag out early

If you are on a buffalo hunt if you see pigs and donkeys you can have a ball and shoot as many as you can so you will be constantly hunting some type of animal. When I go I won't hesitate to shoot a donkey I think it would make a nice rug

This was just shot a couple days ago by the outfitter himself which scored 101 and its what's called a sweeper buffalo compared to the Lunar bulls which are shaped like a half moon

I've done hunts like these and had an absolute blast. Where I was hunting the scrub bulls were far more wary than the water buffalo. That June special was a pretty good price for these hunts, hope someone went.

If this is not proof then I don't know what to tell you it is a blast seeing 100-200 buffalo a day but only seen a handful of big bulls and worked hard for it and also the Banteng was an awesome experience too. Those scrub bull are tricky to hunt also because once they take off they don't slow down

This hunt is year around so if you always wanted to hunt Water buffalo and you don't want to effect your fall season for elk, deer, bear, and mountain lion, I know as a hunter in Washington I wouldn't give that up for the world

I want to remind you this hunt is year around and talk to your friends to come in as a group to hunt these awesome animals and there is tourist attraction near by so if you have a rest day you can see the sights I took a boat ride on a river gorge and it was beautiful I also got to see where Crocodile Dundee was filmed also so i seen some beautiful territory especially heading up to where the Banteng hunt took place on Coburg Peninsula

I forgot to tell you that you do need a VISA to get into the country I got to the Airport and they asked about it and almost went in my pants but the airline took care of me at customer service which cost me 50-60 euros if you do it yourself it's cheaper

Here are better pictures of the 3 Water Buffalo bulls I shot while on my hunt in Australia the biggest was estimated scoring 110 inches SCI which anything 100 or more is a bull of a lifetime and 95 to 100 is a big bull too the 2nd bull was estimated between 95 and 100 and the small one is 90ish
