New Zealand hunts are in the spring for the rut for stagg so on the off time especially elk hunters  you will have a blast with these monsters running around the sides of the hills hearing the roars. Hunts like this book fast so make your dream a reality #shootingstixsafari

Doesn't matter how far he is behind it.  That thing is a tank.

You have an option to hunt 10,000 acres of high fence or hunt free range but quality is not there so you choose. Everybody has this idea that high fence hunts are easy but you will be surprised how it is still a hunt regardless of the size of the fence. To each it's own I would be happy to see stags that big running around instead of not seeing anything at all.

Hunted with a Kiwi last year. He said all the big stag pics you see are high fence.   If you arent going on a high fence hunt you should enjoy the scenery and manage your expectations.

It is based on the size of the stagg so it all depends on your budget or really what you want to shoot. A small stagg is going to cost less than a big stagg. If you are serious than PM on your budget and how big the stagg is ideal and we can calculate numbers to give you a better idea

Nice looking animals, how hard is it to get the meat back here?
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
