Good Shooting Ranges near Everett?
« on: December 26, 2015, 10:36:35 AM »
I have a Sig m716 that I really want to shoot, and I really want to take advantage of the semi-auto feature. Problem is, all the ranges I have looked at wont allow .308 ammo (I guess I could shoot 7.62 if I have to, but I prefer higher grain .308), and/or they will only allow single load shots with that rifle. Anyone know of anywhere I can actually fire this thing the way it was intended to be fired? Thanks in advance.

Guess I might need to find a logging trail or visit southern Oregon soon. By close to Everett I really mean within an hour or so. I can shoot my gun the way I want to near Medford but that's like 9 or 10 hours away. Even a place in eastern Wa that's only 2 or 3 hours away would work great. Thanks again in advance.

I'm not sure about a range, but plenty of forest service land aroun. Head up Hwy 2, go find a quiet spot to make as much noise as you'd like, as fast as you'd like.

Plantation range in Whatcom county. They have a great outdoor range, 50, 100,200 and 300 yards.

Awesome. Thanks for the advice. My parents live in Ferndale so maybe I pay them a visit and do some shooting on the way. Grew up in Whatcom, tough to beat the beauty there.
