In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Went goose hunting in a corn field. Zero birds flying. Literally didn't see a thing.

Moses Lake is frozen, I have not seen much waterfowl the last few days.  :(

Did it snow on Sunday? Is there much additional accumulation?

Same here figured would see if others seeing anything.  Can't believe river isn't better right now with ice.  Hunted in snow storm earlier in week figured birds for sure and nothing.  Hope some more birds come down wasn't ready for season to die off already

Duck hunting suckered this weekend for us too.

No birds flying.  Local birds on Winchester were rated in the middle or on the ice and did not fly unless pushed but even then they went right back to the middle and rated up.

Any updates? I'm planning on heading over to the Moses/Potholes/Crab creek region this coming weekend, hoping there'll be some birds around. I know a few spots where there's usually open water...

Most everything is frozen. Snow on most fields if not all fields. If they are coming from the north they just blow through. I would probably suggest the tri cities area. Don't think there is much snow down there if any.

I was going to go this weekend too.  But, it's a ghost town over there.  Very few ducks two weekends ago (seemed to be mostly very spooky locals), very few duck this past weekend, and weather is just getting worse (i.e., everything is freezing up solid and snow is hard crust on fields).  I heard a few guys were shooting ducks on the big river near Umatilla and Walla Walla areas.  Otherwise, not much happening, and not expecting it to change with forecast weather.

Not many ducks on the lower Wenatchee or on the C, even where it is closed between Wenatchee and East Wenatchee
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
