Hey gang,

I am looking for places to see around Cody, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. We will be heading over sometime this summer and am looking for cool sights and other places. If you know of a great place to eat, or a quick off the beaten path museum post it up. What have others seen that is worth seeing again?

Thanks

It's been quite a few years since I've been there, but the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody was great!

Checking into it now thank you. Holy cow did not realize how expensive Jackson Hole is! Dang I guess skiers and snow boarders are rich. Hahaha

Ghost town on the west end of town I remember being cool. Lots of old taxidermy work and a two headed cow. Jeremiah Johnson is buried there too.
Its been about 9 years since I have been there, but the Cody museum is huge. large Winchester exhibit.

Awesome that is the stuff I am looking for. Doing internet searches and looking at tourist catalogs is getting us to the major attractions but it is nice to see the less traveled areas as well. Will be doing Old Faithful in the park just like everyone else, but would like to find attractions that support local's too.

Jackson is fun, and plenty to do and see for cheap. I recommend staying at the Virginian Hotel. We really liked it, and is a fair price as far as hotels go. If you have kids, do lunch at the Playhouse. Kids can have a tall sarsaparilla while sitting on a saddle bar stool, and lunch is really good and reasonably priced. Fun time there. Hit the town shoot out at 4pm, pretty fun, the Playhouse team puts on that show. Wife and I had a beer in the Million Dollar Cowboy bar, kind of a must for you to be in Jackson and have a beer there. Cool Place. Wander around town, lots of stores, your female will love it. We try and get down there in the morning for this. Enjoy, will be a great time!
