Here's a pic JBar sent me of his Bladetech. He thinks its the Eclipse classis although they don't list that model for a Shield. It could be the Eclipse Ambi.

Have a Custom Kydex holster being made through Tactical Supply ,  should have it in 2 weeks. Its real similar to the Gunfightersinc Ronin.  Also going to get ahold of the custom leather holster maker that's local to me and have him make me an IWB for the Shield ( hears a picture of those ) for more of a deep carry holster

www.gunfightersinc.com

nuff said!!  You won't be dissapointed.  Check out their website for dealers on the west side so you can try it on.  It is a popular pistol so I am sure all the shops that carry their holsters will have one.  If you like the fit and not the color then just have them custom make you one.

Father in law runs this rig on his shield loves it.  His is the Ronin OWB.

:yeah: I love mine, I carry everyday using this holster (ronin), and have been for over two years.  Much more versatile then IWB holsters in my opinion.

I own 3 and am in the market for a 4th.  Hands down the best holster I have ever worn.

I completely agree! Adam is a stand up guy and his company "Gunfighters Inc" delivers quality holsters and kit. He has their standard line and is more than willing to to pretty much anything.

I particularly like his "Ronin" holster. It's my go to for pretty much everything I carry.

I dropped my Sig Sauer Scorpion off with Adam several years ago and said fit some cool kydex to it.

I have a Crossbreed IWB that I really like for my Shield. I have a Gunfighters Inc Kenai chest holster for my G29 and can attest to their quality.

Ever looked into any of the stuff made by Kramer?  I bought one for my P7M8 made out of horsehide back in the mid 90's that's been a great piece all these years and still looks nearly new.

I can't say I've made a lot of wise decisions over the last 47 years but I will say, with regard to buying new guns, that P7M8 was definately one of the better ones.

I also started with a klipt and it sucked so I bought a bladetech nano. It is the perfect holster for me and I have yet to find anything better.

Desantis Sof-Tuk  $25 on amazon
small, compact easy to put on/off, even sitting in your vehicle.  Low mount point of clip lets you tuck it in as well.  I had a bladetech for a while, simple fact is leather is more comfortable than most kydex rigs with the exception of the hybrids like crossbreed, but those are just so big that they are overkill for something as compact as a shield.

Does it only attach to one place in the leather? That's why I hated the Bladetech Klipt it moves around alot.

yes one place with a screw, tighten that screw and the clip does not wander around.  It sets your cant and off you go.  I has and extra layer of leather at that mount point.  pict in a moment...

Been using it over a year, it stays put once you set angle and tighten screw.
