New smoker!
« on: December 30, 2015, 11:06:17 PM »
So after me and my wife have been going to my buddies house and having dinner a few times and having some really good smoked food, my wife surprised me with a new smoker for Christmas! I've never really smoked anything besides salmon in my little chief so I'm pretty much a rookie in the smoker dept. So with that anyone got any good recipes I should try? Any does and donts?I want to anything and everything. We went to Costco this last weekend and got some chicken that I did up Sunday. Those turned out pretty good I thought for the first run. I also got a pork loin that I'm gonna try out Friday. Thanks guys for the advice.

I will ask my little brother tomorrow when I see him. He does all the smoking for my family most of the time. I post his advice then. That's a great gift, should be a lot of fun.

Just don't smoke any fish in the "meat" smoker. Save that for the little chief. :twocents:
