nimrod pack
« on: January 24, 2009, 01:07:05 PM »
any of you boys or girls tried the nimrod folding frame pack? I like nimrods stuff, but, I am really a internal frame type of guy, their site doesn't really say much about it in terms of weight. any info is much appreciated.

I and my cousin both use the nimrod frame, the model thats a few years old and we love them.  I have the game haul bag on mine, and only use it for packing meat but we have pack 5 bulls out in the last two years and they work great.

I have it and I love it. I am pretty much sold on Nimrod gear. I also have the game bag with compression straps, very nice.

I love mine too. Awesome pack. I have the pinnicle with the meat hauler, inflating seatand the GPS holder.
The bino starps from them beats the crap out of Cabelas or buttler creeks too.

You can special order a meat hauler in drab green for 10 bucks more too!
I do what the voices in my tackle box tell me to.

I am actually kind of addicted to Nimrod's products. I have taken mine on several pack trips and it is by far the most comfortable pack I have ever worn. I love the versatility of it too. My wife knows that if she ever needs gift ideas for me, she only has to go to nimrods website.

I wait all year for the show in Puyallup to look and buy as they bring the whole line. Great people to deal with and 50 pounds rides like 20.
I use it for bank fishing hikes on the OP and everything in between. Amazing product, its like having 10 different packs for any occasion. The fold up seat is the bomb. They actually had Thermarest make the self inflater and its covered in the wind pro fleece. Quiet, comfy, insulated, and tucks away to nothing.

The meat hauler is awesome too. Rolls right up into the pinnicle or carry in spike camp with it.

I dont even use my Arctrex Bora 80 anymore for hikes.

I finally got to check out the system at the ISE show in portland, I didn't think it would fit my needs properly. I went with the sitka bivy 45. well actually my inlaws gave it to me for my b-day :IBCOOL:
