It was fun to see Amber retrieve something other than ducks. My dad is on the right, he shot a new cz side by side that he recently won.  I don't think I've ever seen prettier farm birds, and man could these fly! The last one flew almost a quarter mile before his brain quit working.

Saved the big one's beautiful rump patch for my sister's boyfriend, who does that, as well as a variety of other feathers including some of the shorter tail ones. Kept the long ones for school crafts and my neighbor's daughter.

you can use any of the tail feathers but the 4 longest have useable feathers on both sides.  mike w
