2016 hunting license
« on: December 31, 2015, 07:03:51 PM »
So I didn't buy my migratory birds license for the 2015 season. If I were to get one for 2016 right now and got the federal duck stamp would I be able to hunt the remainder of the season

No, the licenses expire on March 31st. So you need a 2015/2016 license. You can't even buy a license for next year yet.

Oh okay, so they will sell you the license but it won't be good until April 1st. I usually buy all my new licenses when I apply for the spring bear permit. Which is the end of February.

Yeah that's what I usually do but I just bought when I bought my multi season applications so was just wondering if there was any carry over

I believe the state mig. and federal duck stamp are good until july. If you already have your 2015 license, you still could hunt the season by adding them on.
It's not true that I am good for nothing---I can be used as a bad example!!
