2016 Sheds...Post them here!
« on: January 01, 2016, 06:18:49 PM »
I might as well start it.  Way too nice a day to sit around all day inside.  Grabbed the pooch and hit the hills.  Only out about 45 minutes before she found her first ever (that I know of).  Last year's or more likely a two year old shed based on the mottled appearance.  It wasn't the BT shed I was hoping to find, but still a great way to start the new year!

My aunt Brenda found a whitetail spike shed at our place, a week ago, in Curlew in a foot and half of snow, some people just have all the luck

6 point Roosevelt I picked up this morning, first one for 2016. Take a look at that base, I'm thinking he got to fighting and broke it off a couple months early from last year, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

It was just holding blood from last year, esp by the way it was laying. Stand it on end and drain the rest out before you bring it inside :chuckle:
