Bulls at Oak Creek. Any pics?
« on: January 02, 2016, 03:35:49 PM »
There are a few dandy bulls at Oak Creek. One bull in the corner pasture by Hwy 12 and 410 had eight points on one side.  My does anyone have some images they want to share of these bulls?

Fairly decent frontal of him with my cell phone camera.  Bones master 8 picture is a very similar bull.

Anybody else like droopy's looks? I'd do a shoulder mount on him if I were to shoot him.

I got pictures of droopy as well but I didn't see the 8 point bull when I was there. Some good bulls there but I didn't see any monster bulls. I also noticed that the elks bodies at oak creek are all smaller than the elk in the blues.

So are those bulls safe now or can the natives still get them?

I'm not sure the natives know they are there.    :chuckle:

Hey I Know him I saw Droopy Bull  with 4 days left in Rifle season Just Up out of Carroll Flats  Unfortunately no Big Bull Tag  He and I had a Close encounter @30 ft, he came slowly around a bunch of firs along a well established run in the ridge  just at Daybreak. I Had already heard twigs snapping lightly so I took a Knee ready to shoot and it was him.   He Is quite the Bull.  I hope he lives a long time and sires a lot of calves
