Day out in Field
« on: January 03, 2016, 09:36:57 AM »
Went out yesterday and got a limit of pheasants and few extras in a few hours of hunting.  Conditions were cold with about 18" of snow in some places, dog had to work pretty good as he sank down with the running.  The last bird of the day was shot and then landed up in the tree so after taking this pic it decided to fly and the dog made a great 50yd retrieve...

Congrats on a great day in the field! Cool picture just under that rooster, do not see that very often as they are generally long gone, he must have been hurting. Nice you pup got a long retrieve out of it as well.
