Sheep Auction Tag
« on: December 31, 2015, 12:39:23 PM »
I noticed while browsing thru the WDFW site that the Auction winner will be able to hunt the Swakane Herd in 2016 & the Raffle tag winner will not have that right. As far as I know there's still only 1 permit tag given out for the Swakane & we all know the rules pertaining to that. Seems pretty unfair to me as someone who buys Raffle tickets but I'm pretty sure we can all see what's going on here.$$$$$$$$$

They changed the rule so now WDFW can dictate how many, and which tags can access which units. It's no longer "any unit with two or more tags".

What's real "interesting" is that the auction winner also gets to utilize a licensed guide in there for the first two weeks.
