At one point I received a cloth bag with her logo on it in the mail.  She said she had something for me, so I gave her my address.  I don't know her, and have never done business with her.  I used it for a game bag a few times...worked great.  I don't know what all this means, but I figure it might be another piece to a puzzle that none of us will ever be able to put together.  Please tell me everyone else got a bag too :dunno:
I can clear this up.
At one time I was going to create a logo for another taxi and silk screen them onto game bags. Just and arts and craft project..nothing big. I accidentally mentioned it to Michelle who told where I could get raw materials. Next thing I know she is at my house showing me samples of bags she has sewn. A day or so later she sends me a message with a couple of logos to preview. I was not real happy about her jumping on my idea, but I thought I would be doing the screening and she would make the bags. Boy was I wrong. I was previewing logos for someone else to screen or transfer. I don't remember which way she went. My idea, but I did not even get a bag. LOL

The real bummer was that when this bag thing was going on, there were new threads popping up here about people not being able to contact her for their mounts.

I really thought it was some promotional thing she was doing with huntwa members.  Or maybe she confused me with one of her actual clients.  Nice gesture, whatever the gesture was.

Some were given to clients and one plan was to put bear rugs in them.

This has been the most enlightening experience of my entire huntwa existence.  I lost a lot of sleep over this.  At one point I sat the bag down on a chair and just stared at it hoping the answer would come to me.  Sorry about the intellectual property theft.  I'm not gonna lie, it was a great idea.  I'd sell you mine, but Michelle Nelson stock is down at the moment.  I'd have to take a loss.

I don't get it.  When I look at the quality of her work, her prices, the positive interactions I've had with her on hunt wa, and the fact that she sent me an awesome free bag, she gets an A.  This is self sabotage.

Epic Thread.  Great start to 2016!  Thanks for everyone being who they are on Hunt-WA.

And the Comcast comment by Bob33, priceless.

Patience, my friends.......It is a virtue that not all of us have.

5 years is an extremely reasonable time frame to complete a taxidermy project......she is still dealing with tannery issues from 2012 and the great Phone outage of 2013.....Your time will come when you get the message of you have a 2 hour window to get your 1/2 complete project out of her shop.   :dunno:

Very sad state of affairs, but I am definitely entertained by the responses from you all.   :chuckle:

Why in gods name would anyone from this board keep taking work there ?

So...it's kinda like looking at a bad car crash...you gotta do it and you feel bad for looking. But should we feel bad when the driver survives and gets back in their vehicle, backs up and drives straight into the same telephone pole, again...and again......and again...
It is hard to follow one great vision in a world of darkness and of many changing shadows. Among these shadows men get lost.
