338 RCM

Anyone have one yet? Like the idea about a 200gr bullet doing 2850 outa a short action rifle. Always wanted a 338 just not a win mag. Don't like recoil. Anyway just wondering.

I don't know about the 338 RCM but as soon as they come out with the 300RCM with no sights I am ordering one.

if I was a ruger guy I would get one, they appear to be very good calibers. I havent heard anything about in the field performance yet but i am sure they are good.

I would bet that it will have the same recoil as the win mag, but it will be a lighter gun so it will have more recoil. If you dont like the recoil I would go with the .338 federal.

It's not the equal of a 338winmag or even a 325wsm. Prolly hit a little harder than an -06.
