Nothing. Going to pull the hancock koro trap. Not working the beavers are not doing what I want them to do. Lol I will paint the trap and move to a new spot. Maybe the bright Alum. Is scarring them. Who know what the beaver are thinking. I will get at least one of them.  :beatdeadhorse:
going to move 3 swim thru traps in the channel.  I found there 2 dens and feed sites. Just have the pattern there movments. Just to deep and to many travel routes. Might put all three traps in one area to funnel them in at least 1 trap.

Dang nosey people. Evertime I seem to be setting a trap. Someone always to ask what I am doing.  :tree1: dang hippys. Try to avoid them but there ever where.  :bash: Hope they leave my beaver sets alone. Then we went to check the bobcat sets. Nothing but as we stepped out on the road. A 100 yards down by the truck was 2 dog.  :dunno: We said Hi and jump in and started the truck. The dog started peeing on my tire and barking at use as we drove off. I looked back in the mirror and the dogs ran in towards my bobcat set.  :bash: so i drove paced my other set 300 yards away. When to look at the rest and nothing. 5 miles down a guy asked if I seen 2 dogs and I said yes. There back by road by the swamp. He left and I turned around.  3 miles back and 500 yards away I could see the guy driving and his 2 dogs following him. Next thing I know the dogs are gone again.  :yike: no not again. My other set. The man parks and I watch as he starts to look for his 2 dogs.  :bash: :bash: I get out and said you lost them again? And he said yea they went in here. I siad I know why. My trap is there. He asked  :yike: snares and I sai no cage trap. The man asked me will they hurt my dogs. I replied no. He seemed cool. I told him there are 10 plus traps up and down the road. He said he will try and keep them in the yard. But if they do go missing I know where to look. I told him if I catch one  I will let him go. Lol place a trail cam at one of the sets. I my move them but that the spot where the bobcat and mink crossed.  I can't seem to get away from the hikers with dogs and hippys. This is why I like eastern washington. I hardly see people in the woods. Lol

No rabbit pan trap. I can't get them to go in colony traps. I have paced them in there path in and out of water. I ever had both traps 3ft apart and they just like the cage trap. Hmmm now I have both trap sitting next to each other. I don't think there are much rats at this pond.

Now since the water leave is starting to go down.  I can get in to some nice spots. Scouted today found good beaver sign and very good spots for swin thru's. Made one swin thru sunday. Works great just need to rap mesh around her. Going to make more swins thru's and new cat traps with trigger wire. By next season I will have a lot of traps out :chuckle: and get me some fur :chuckle: Thats if work doesn't get in the way. Lol

:chuckle: Not a bear lol just a dog and its owners releasing him. Must of just missed him yesterday morning. He must of liked the refeshed skunk smell. Lol after this I pulled the two traps there. Going to look for a new area. Left 3 miles down the road. But I don't know might just pull them all. I was driving by my last few traps and seen a guy running 8 big red hounds off the main dirt road.  :bash: Don't know what he is hunting but coon is still open. He seen me and loaded up his dogs. Drove by and said. Thanks Hmmmm As I drove off he let them all out.  :bash: There goes my cat spots. Maybe this is why I haven't had any thing for weeks. Oh well thats life on public land. But I did get my first Otter in a swin thru today and had a bear set off one of my traps to. I will post the picture later. It looks like a bear to me. Very dark and after it walks by the next picture shows the door closed. At least I have some action.
