Trying to thanks Jake for letting me use some of your traps. Do you need beaver meat? I have to much right now. Just going to feed the coyotes with this ones meat. Just let me know.

Swim throughs are nice because you can wait up to 72 hours. Save lots on gas that way.

Took some pictures to day of 2 of my beaver sets, bank dens, and water dens.  The pictures shows the bailey set and my swin thru trap is in line with a bank den slide running in to the pond.

:o  Well it took me 6 hours to day to pull the cat traps and check swim thrus. I did pull one swim thru and found a nice creek to set it for otter or beaver. Will see if it pays off Sunday. I might pull the swim throughs Sunday but I will sleep on it. I just want to catch a big beaver in my new trap I made to test her out. Tomorrow I will wash the cat traps and put them away for the season. Unless I have WCO work to do then I will pull them out.

:bash: checked swim thru's dang beavers. Lol missed him I think. The water level is high and the beaver dove under dive sticks and went right over the trap and set it off. He fixed the dam. All well I will get him next time. Reset and check the rest. Messed up on the Bailey and didn't set the cables off to the side. Well beaver swam over it and trigger her. The cables were pinched between the fram and cage fencing. So I pulled it and reset the cables to the dogs. Tested it 3 time should be good now. Rookie mistake just like forgetting my safety ring on the koro trap last time. Lol I did get a muskrat in my swim thru I just made.
