Anybody Out there use this Outfitter before? I know it's early but got to start planning now! Probably for muzzy season but keeping our options open. May depend on draws but we are all in that boat. You can PM me if you prefer. Good luck to all in the 2016 season

From what I understand, the owner is still waiting for his permit to guide from the usfs, but I have heard nothing but good things about him.
I will probably use him for a drop camp if I ever draw rimrock.

I thought he was a site sponsor. I might be thinking of someone else.

I used kent this year for my elk hunt. It was awesome. The horses were very well manered, he was very knowledgeable and helpfull. The camp, i cant say enough about. Brand new tent and cots. Pots and pans. And if we needed anything he was in there the next day delivering. He was great and i would highly reccomend white pass outfitters. If you draw goat rocks goat tag. Definitly call kent. He will put you right in the goats. This was my fist outfitter experience so i dont have a comparison, but both my dad and i were blown away by the service and accomidations..

Hey Outdooraddict if you get a chance can you PM me. It would be nice to know if you did Muzzy or other and a few other
?. My sons and I did a pack in 2015 and like the experience but are interested in different areas and terrain. Already Elk Hunting is stuck in my brain and it's only January.

200 per mule, usually does it with 2 mules per elk. we made it work on one of his down trips. but he only had 2 mules with him so he did 1 elk per mule and charged us 400, but that's not normal

Good morning all,
My brother in law and I drew two of the Goat Rock Wilderness goat tags for 2015. We used White Pass outfitters to do a drop tent in the McCall Basin area and would do it again in a heart beat. Kent and his brother Dan were outstanding and the equipment was perfect. I'm a horse guy, but my brother in law is not and the stock used to get us in the ten miles were perfect. Completely uneventful with the exception of an occasional bee hive, which is expected during that time of year. We are, get us there and leave us along type hunters, but the pre information that Kent and Dan provided was extremely beneficial and saved us days of scouting. The camp and equipment was new, well maintained and worked without any issues. So nice we stayed 3 extra days to just enjoy camp after our extremely successful hunt.
The hunt started with us scouting the McCall and North Fork glaciers, Cowlitz Clearfork Basin and Packwood Glacier areas. All hiking distance from our cozy home base in McCall. We saw roughly 25-30 goats a day with some extremely nice Billies. We took two nice Billies mid trip on separate days and the boys came in immediately "twice" to get the caped heads and meet out to the freezer. If you've ever had anything mounted you know this is critical to a good mount.
I have cabin in the White Pass area and have hunted their for over 40 years and know the country well. Kent used to run the Indian Creek Carrols before some personal reasons required him to sell and move on. He is the best asset to hunters in that area and is more than happy to help people just for the love of the sport. When he was at the corral, I often spent time cross referencing animal movements in the area and am glad to have him back in area.
The answer to your question is, if you want to get in the back country for a quality hunt give him a call. He will definitely set you up! My only regret is I don't get to goat hunt again next year.
Let me know if you have any other questions,
Ugly Rack

Congrats on the goat. Looks like a good mature animal. Love the heavy coat.
It always nice to get a good report on an outfitter.
Glad it worked out :tup
