Was the wilderness meant to have every father and son parking at the the trailhead and walking in? No. One of the concerns I and many others have about outfitters being allowed in the wilderness is the risk of an area having too much traffic in the years to come. Wildernesses should be kept pristine. A lot of people will say "hey, we should hunt here from now on" after being guided on a hunt, and as a result, year after year, the area starts becoming more populated with hunters.
