   McManus has 2 mysteries out. both feature bo tully the blight county sherriff in Idaho.  one is avalanche and the other is the blight way.  just read avalanche and it was very good and am seeking the other.  mike w

Something that people overlook when digging up reading material when it pertains to hunting is literature on the animal itself.  Understanding animal behavior, breeding habits, migration habits, and food sources is a huge asset in the field.  Anything Valerius Geist is solid.

I agree, although Geist's detailed discussion of necrotic stomotitis in wintering elk put me to sleep on more than one reading attempt.  Make sure you have some caffeine handy just in case. :)
