Any Open water in Moses Lake
« on: January 11, 2016, 09:29:56 PM »
I know we had a deep freeze but I was wondering if there are any areas around potholes or the moses lake area that are still opened up?

Getting soft around the edges of the lakes. Unless it's moving water, it's still frozen as far as I can see. I believe MLFD had to get someone out of Moses recently.
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

Crab Creek hunting spots or Echo Valley that have running water and locations with hot springs are getting birds.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

One of my fishing acquaintances partially fell thru on the first day people were out fishing there.   Next day there was 30-35 people out.   People were fishing even yesterday when I drove by.

I hope it wasn't your friend that flipped his boat when we fished Burke. Maybe I'll meet you on the opener on March 1 this year.

Is Potholes frozen? Asking more for walleye fishing than ducks.

They were getting them in Lind Coulee a couple winters ago.

I've never seen the main lake with enough ice that I would trust walking on it. I am hoping for open water to do go rip some blade baits.

There is a chance I am flying down to pasco tomorrow. If I do I'll try and get a picture of the reservoir

Crab creek power line launch is locked down solid. Tried plowing through it with my truck to get to the narrow stretch of open water but all that happened was a license plate holder got ripped off my truck lol.
