Bear Den
« on: January 25, 2009, 04:14:05 PM »
Today Bobcat and I went to check out a bear den he found last week. The bears were there recently but now they are gone. Too bad they weren’t still around.

You can see all the Salal and Sword Ferns that were tore up and placed into the hollowed out stump.

From the inside looking out.

BTKR in the den.

Bobcat in the den.

Very cool!
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

The darn cubs were just there last Tuesday, squalling when mama left as I got too close. Would've made for some great pictures if they had still been in there today! Still it was cool seeing up close a bear's den that had been in use less than a week ago.
