Yale odd ball bull lost?

If someone lost one during the late season, I know where the bones are.  Coyotes have been eating good.

Looking at those antlers, I'd guess the poor thing had hoof rot and finally got to weak to survive.  Any evidence of a shot or wound?

Thanks Plat.  Not too far away, so I'll take a closer look at the feet.  Hinds are still attached, fronts are drug a ways.  I didn't notice any glaring foot issues.  I was thinking bad shot placement since didn't see any shot damage.  Nothing left but skeleton, most hide gone.

Been a lot of cats in there the past few years too.  Been concerning when you see 25-30 elk on a flat and not a single calf.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Gut shot during rifle season? :dunno:

Restricted firearm unit.  Permit only during late season.  Fifteen WM 3 pt. min. tags.  About as close as it gets on the 3 point.
