So Charlie did you end up winning the elk horn contest? When I looked on Sat nite you were still in 1st. Nice bull glad I got to check it out and hope you brought home a prize. nwhunter

Yup got 1st for the Elk and Third overall. Got a Bushnell elite 3200 score ($250.00 value) and a kershaw knife!

1st was a 260 inch non typical muley from Idaho shot in the 60's I believe and second was a roosevelt bull that scored like 330. Travis missed getting his bull entered. It was supposed to be entered by 6:00 on saturday and we didnt know it. I was actually going to go on sunday also, good thing I changed my mind. Travis did have his bull there today and is absolutely incredible. Ive never seen or touched a bull with so much charecter. I think he would have gotten about 5th over all with it had he got it in there on saturday . I cant wait to mount that thing!! Coolest bull I have seen for sure.

He got me by 2 1/2 inches but it looks more like 22 1/2 inches

Very cool I'll be getting a copy next year for sure!!! I have those sheds that were entered from last year and make it in ... since I can't kill anything that makes book at least found somthing that makes it!!

Your lucky the guy who had a rack down at the Tri's show didnt show up there ! He had an Elk that the local scorer had at 384.. and the owner told me that he had SCI score it and it went 430/something !!!!!!! I asked why the difference and he said cause this guy has his head up his butt..lol.... but that they didnt take mass into account here. This was the biggest Rack I had ever seen ! I was able to get a camera pic but it doesnt look too well. I told them of the site and hope they get on here to share it !!

The blacktail rack was a real monster. Very nice buck. There were some real nice horns there. My moose took second. It would have won if one side was not damaged prior to me killing it. I got a gun case so it paid for it self...
