Looks like fun. Who's done it before? Is it a beginner friendly event?

What are the typical ranges of the targets? Longest ones specifically?

I've never done it, but those are a couple of my buddies in the first pic (spotter/shooter).  From talking to them, it is a good shoot.  Need two rifles (small game/large game) to be competitive.

The shoots are beginer friendly! I would suggest coming with a little practice under your belt before expecting a high placing, but a bunch of fun if you enjoy hunting, shooting or steel. These shoots go from as close as 150 yards on the small game targets to as far as 1000 plus sometimes on the big game targets.

If you wanted to practice and see what it is like you could check out the small game shoots and see what you think. They are cheaper and not real intense on the competition side. Take a look at the website for rules and dates and come out, bring a couple friends or your kids and have a good time.

We are down to just under 10 spots left open for the shoot. We are receiving items for the prize table every week. Just got an email today from defiance machine, they will be sending a 50% off certificate. We will have a couple chassis, a stock certificate from mcmillan good for 800$ and much more. Not to mention we have received 1 of the 2 first focal plane shv scopes from nightforce to give away.

See you there!
