What bullet you plan on launching?

  not a huge selection of quality bullets for it but you'll find a good one if you spend some time (and some money) on finding the right one(s). 

With three rifles in .25-06, I have developed good loads using IMR 4350 and H4831sc so finding powder isn't going to be hard either.

Dang this looks like a fun shooter

The Pic slots are full length on the HD and the HD is 7075 aluminum instead of 6061.


Probably worth having HD's on any magnum class rifle with a heavy optic.

I was set to pull the trigger on one of these in 7mm or 300wm when I come across a first gen Sendero in 7mm. Still working a load but cant wait to stretch its legs.

From what I've read I think it's almost a Sendero. Really not sure but either way, I'm with you.

Same barrel length, different stocks Rem LR have Bell and Carlaon, Senderos have HS Precision, xmark triggers in the LR. I read alot about them and from what I gathered the xmark triggers were terrible. Looks like a solid rig!!!

It's a chicken-and-egg thing of the lack of heavy-for-weight caliber bullets and tight twist .257 tubes.  To get the most out of one, you need the other.

The cool thing a 1-10" 25-06 is great for is offering up a legit deer and elk round with 110-115 gr accubonds/Barnes, and switching to 3400+ FPS varmint rounds with the 87-90 gr HP's out there. 

Very, very versatile cartridge.
