Those are nice fish.  Wish I knew how to catch them.  Congrats.

Nice looking keepers!

Are we under the new measuring rules yet (measuring to fork in tail vs. tip of tail)?  If so, would any of your fish been keepers under the old rule but not under the new rule?  Just curious.

Well done!

I believe the new way of measuring to the middle of the fork in the tail is now in effect and different parts of the river have different minimum measurements now too!

The new measuring really doesn't change the legal size of the fish only a different measuring point.  Last year 42-60 to tip of top tail, this year to fork 38-54, still almost the same fish.  The tail will grow in porportion to the fish so of course it will be longer on the upper end of size versus smaller fish.  Mine was 46 or 47 and the other 45 or 46, add 5 inches or so and you got a 50 or 51 and 51 or 52 incher from last year..  And folks don't have to worry about if the fish was held a certain way, was the tip pulled, straight or at an angle, etc.....  It is surely easier to measure and alot quicker, less stress on the fish, well not these two but you get the picture..

Huntnphool, Since I had alot of tag soup this year for red meat decided to go on a fish diet, besides I was hungry and they looked so tasty...  Is this the official count? :chuckle:  I'm hoping before the tourney to tagged out...  I'm going to be on the big boys too often to worry about the eating size ones...... :chuckle:

Besides Springers are just around the corner, the other red meat, well sort of pink fleshy toned...

Mike, I noticed you seem to be struggling with those two. Maybe you should be dragging along someone to help you with those.  :chuckle:
