Anyone ever try Pine Tar? I looked for some in the hardware stores but could not find. Thought it may be a good one to experiment with,

Hunting cowboy those look great, I will have to try that. Here's a couple that I have stained. I used antler stain #1 from Research Mannikins , its a little dark for the little 2point blacktail.  I used up the other bottle on the big buck and threw it away,but I'm thinking it was antler stain #3 or#4.

Part 2 ... although this is mostly just the finishing of the painting of the tine ... the fixing of a tine is in the 1st part

It brings that brown color back, closely matching the original.
