ALS Defense Unveils Special Anti-Drone Shotgun Rounds at the SHOT Show

Leading the good fight against our cyborg overlords this year was ALS defense (Amtech Less-Lethal Systems), with their Skynet anti-drone rounds for 12ga. shotguns and 37mm/40mm launchers.  All kidding aside, this is quite a capable antidrone round.  It works by spreading apart a bolo than can entangle the rotor blades as it ascends toward the drone.  The rounds for the 12ga 3 1/2? Magnum can ascend 300ft, and achieve a 9 ft diameter, while the 2 3/4? rounds can achieve a 5ft diameter.  Once they reach the apex of their ascent, the parachute down slowly enough to be caught in one's hand.  The rounds are also non-toxic.  For drones with shrouded blades, steel shot can be inserted into cavities between the pieces of the round.

Snake River ammunition advertised their "Drone-Munition" a while back. Is this Bezthold's stuff?

Now y'all know yer messin with aircraft regulated by the FAA.... surely they will be fine with it.  Just make sure to remove the memory card and format it if there is a camera mounted to get rid of incriminating evidence.     :dunno:

Because rc boats and cars can't fly onto my property and take video of my family.   :mgun:

There is much more discreet ways to spy on ordinary civilians...rc airplanes have done fpv flying for a few years now and nobody cares...

I doubt a rc car would get on my property without my dogs alerting me. You would have a hard time pressing charges if your drone crash landed on my property,   :twocents:

Which begs the question.
Do we own the air space over our property? Maybe a differnt thread?

The difference is you caused property damage...a crime...I would be able to sue you for it...flying a qaudcopter over a property is not necessarily against the law...you could sue me...but for what? Any property damage to you would have been the direct result of you shooting it and it crashing on your property...it's honestly the same attitude that liberals have towards ar15s....

I have a right to privacy...and a drone out side my window is a direct invasion of that

If you don't plan on spying on me then you shouldn't have to worry bout your drone getting shot down

You would have a hard time suing me if your drone crash landed in my back yard.   ;)  Just don't fly it over private property and you'll be fine.   :hello:

How can he spy with a camera-less "drone"? How will you guys tell the difference between ones flying around with or without cameras? They used to be fun toys until the camera attachments got involved lol.
