Do you just donate the meat locally and have them euro the skull to ship to you later?

Beautiful boar. My son lived on O'ahu and Kaua'i for a few years and got hooked up with some locals who hunt them slightly differently. The bait a trap made of cyclone fence and when they catch the pig, they go in with a knife. Pretty bad-ass stuff. I was fortunate to enjoy a luau with a pig harvested that way.

Did you go to the Paniola Museum?  I had the great pleasure of talking to the cowboy who makes saddles  at the museum. The story of how the Hawaiian cowboy came to be is awesome as is the first rodeo that they went to the Big Show.

Have you called TSA to be certain they'll allows the cape and head in checked baggage? Seems like a recipe for a missed flight or throwing it away at the airport.

I'm not aware of any restrictions when travelling domestically.

That's such a cool shot of the pig! What a great experience.

It's the airline that might have a problem  a few have banned tranport of dead game animals. You could always claim its your service pig? Looks like a fun time in Hawaii.

Yes I've contacted them and the USDA.. no problems... Im flying Alaskan airlines they have no problems with trophy animals as long as it's packed properly... I've heard some airlines are not allowing animals after the whole Cecil the lion incident
