If that happened to me I wouldn't abandon my vehicle.  He's a turd!

I can think of four launches where that happens. 3 on the Frenchman's and one on the Winchester. PM me which launch and I'll tell you if I've seen that rig before blocking the launch. You should have been able to whack and stack em today? Buddies got a 4 man limit and 3 geese today.

He had no vehicle issues and was "happily" out hunting the lake.

So, I've never done anything like this, and can't imagine that I ever would.   

However......

The last couple years of my dad's life, he would do it.

He was physically feeble and a leg amputee, but once in a while he'd decide to go fishing by himself and leave his truck/trailer on the ramp.

He'd scoot on his butt to go fishing.

I always worried about him..... but you couldn't stop him and he didn't ask permission.

I'm not condoning it.....   But it did happen.
