Using dogs:
• (WAC 232-12-242): Hunting wild animals (except rabbits and hares) with dogs (hounds) during the months of
October, or November during the dates established for modern firearm deer or elk general seasons in eastern and western Washington
• (RCW 77 15 240) : Allowing a dog, owned or controlled by you, to pursue or injure deer or elk or to accompany you while you are hunting deer or elk is prohibited
Not sure what any of this has to do with a high fence operation in Canada.  :chuckle:

Yogi is just the best......
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Oh man, it gets better! After reading their claim that "this a REAL HUNT, and VERY Fair Chase! I find this on their web site.

"You know you are a small personalized operation when the Outfitters dog is a member of the team. Well ask any Silvertine client and they will say "Heck Ya" Yogi is as instramental as Steve in the smooth operation of Silvertine. Yogi has many talents, and the biggest one is his nose. Yogi has alerted us while still hunting by smelling elk and deer that were bedded in the thick brush a short distance away that we never would have seen otherwise, and walked right by, so you could say he is a guide, and to his credit has guided to numerous elk and deer. Yogi's skills as a tracker would make a Masai warrior scratch his head in disbelief, he is damn good at it, and he has always found our "game" when he was put to the test."

How many record keeping organizations consider using dogs to hunt deer and elk to be fair chase?

http://www.silvertine.ca/meet-the-silvertineteam.html

And it says they turn out the bulls/bucks onto the range in July/August.  I wonder if that is when they pull the ear tags out too  :dunno:
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I guess I thought we were talking about Buddy getting in the book as the new #1, when it seems as though he may have shot his buck in BC. Not to mention that it would mean he scammed out the horns competition of a rifle and best in show.

People seem to do anything for money and notoriety.   Look at several of the tv show personalities that got nailed this year.
