Stews buck is a WA buck. Known well by a good amount of people. The main buck I still don't know. You'd think a buck like living in asotin county would have been noticed by some people. Seems like no one knows anything about that buck except the person that shot it. I'd really like to see it be legit but a lot of the story is missing.

Stew that is a great mount. I had the late rifle tag the same year you shot that buck. I was one of the many I'm sure that had pics of him and was hoping to find him during the season.

I would think that any high fence / ranch etc. would have a pic and "score" of that bad boy.    Guessing the records folks have a method of contact, maybe they should reach out for some validation.  It should be easy enough for the hunter to pull their tag reporting info and provide it?

So I found out today that all three deer buddy Hughes entered in the horns competition were not shot in Washington. The new record will not be entered. The rifle he won will be returned. Also possible are civil charges against him.

Haha a bunch of us called it!  Hope they get him for fraud.  Accepting the rifle proves intent.

Boom. Wow...greed strikes again. What a jackwagon.

The head and horn competition is the high light of the sportsman show for most of us for more than one reason, lets face it we all get cabin fever in the off season as things can get a bit cranky around here as well, its a great opportunity to spend the day dreaming about future trips, or getting there trophy's scored, and checking out new products on the market, but seriously the bottom line is putting wild game meat up on the shelf's for our families, antlers are nice but.........I wouldn't want to be that guy if the allegations are true.

What are they going to do with the rifle etc? Seems like JB should receive it for his big bull he killed this year. I believe he got second overall at the show

Buddy was the character played by Will Ferrell in the movie "Elf". He was on a quest to find his real dad. Funny movie.
