Maven binos?
« on: January 31, 2016, 11:46:27 AM »
We were at the sports show this weekend and saw the maven bino stand. Anyone have any experience with them? Looking at them on line I kind of like them. Anyone know how they would stack up against swarovski or vortex? Thanks

They're nice looking binos, but $900 is out of my range. I wonder where they're made?

I think they are made in Wyoming.

I'd give them a try if I could afford them. I'm a diehard Leupold fan, though.

I've heard nothing but good things about leupold. I'd like to save up and get some swarovski binos but don't want to spend that much on them I have a pair of monarchs I liked but I broke them after a few hunts. So I'm looking for something better. Wish I would of messed with those mavons more yesterday. But had the wife with me and a screaming four month old, so had to get out of there quick.

Rokslide has a pair of 11x45 $800 right now.

I don't have any experience with mavens but I like the ability to stylize everything your way. I believe the binocular is made in Japan and the stylizing is state side.

They are asian glass assembled in CA and sold in WY. They get great reviews. I don't think think they are in the Alpha glass range for quality but I heard they are a great at thier price point.

I also saw them at the show 2 years ago. Bought them this year. They are a high quality low light glass. Well worth the money.

Did you fix them under the warranty?
