IDAHO CALI SHEEP HUNT
« on: April 01, 2016, 03:58:02 PM »
Hi,

I know the odds are long for a non resident, but I am applying this year for the Cali rams in SW Idaho.
I am considering unit 42, but read in the fool that there may be a pneumonia out break in Oregon that is affecting unit 42 in Idaho.
I have a call in to the Bio in that region but haven't heard back yet.

Anyone have any knowledge about this subject.

Thanks,
Bryan

Do you have rock climbing gear. Getting into some of those canyons can be very difficult.

:yeah:

I just talked with the bio.   They wont know for 6 weeks on the health of the sheep. She did say that unit is very rough and has limited road access.
I think I will pass on this unit.  If I lived closer it would be easy to scout it but that is not the case.
