The hunt coordinator called me last Tuesday. Unfortunately, I was in Maine. Damn! back to the bottom of the list and really no chance for another call.

 I guess it's possible, but I was #14 out of 50 and this is the first time through, so it looks bleak.

Consider yourself lucky that you didn't waste your time.  I was number 13.  Tammy got me access to two properties both landowners haven't seen any elk in over a week.  You can see 98% of the properties from the road.  There was very little sign in the fields!
