New Rifle, New Build
« on: February 07, 2016, 01:51:54 PM »
Yesterday I drove halfway across this state for this gun. One I have been looking for for a few months now. Nothing special, a Remington 700 SPS chambered in 300 WSM but I really look forward to the build. This rifle will see a lot of use and abuse. I will post pictures as the build continues.

Carpsniperg2 really made it easy, Matt is was great to see you. Thanks for hooking me up! I would recommend Split Diamond Tactical to anyone.

A couple really good guys joined me on the adventure, it was good to talk and share some laughs. If either of you two ever need somebody to ride shotgun on a "gun run" let me know.

That's a really nice looking rifle. I like the black synthetic and stainless.

I wish I didn't see this thread... lol.

I've been wanting to purchase a Rem 700 (had one years and years ago) and kept putting it off, now I want one of those, but I'm trying to not spend $$$

Now you just need to find brass and ammo for it! :chuckle:

What are you plans for this?

If you have a Cabelas around you, check the bargain cave for a PST. I just bought my second one in about a month from them. Last one was a 6-24x50 FFP MIL/MIL for $675 and today I picked up a 4-16x50 FFP MIL/MIL for $620. I sold the 6-24 for $800 but I may keep the 4-16 to try it out. I think they're factory refurbs and that's why they're so cheap.

Is it weird that I'm aroused by that picture :dunno:

I find your comment to be offensive and I vote that all of your comments mysteriously disappear from this thread never to be spoken of again. :chuckle:
