Didn't bullblaster have a problem with a seekins screw aswell?

Mine was on a base screw. It was simply an id10t error on that. 
I didn't even try and tighten to 48 inch lbs. I managed to screw it up at 15. 
Mine was the short screw they want in the very front hole. It has literally one thread (or less) that goes into the action. That one is just supposed to be snug 5-10 in lb and I cranked it to 15 and pulled the one thread off it.

Figured I ought to post the follow ups.

She's fairly heavy but it's a good middle ground: heavy enough to shoot and light enough to carry.

Rem 700 SA 300wsm
Added Timney trigger, magpul stock, Harris bipod, seekins rail and rings (bedded), viper pst 6-24

Doesn't shoot like a custom but it's good enough for me. 1/2 moa at 112 yards all day and it kills every coyote it gets pointed at. Pushing 215 Berger hybrids at 2760.

For a couple grand, she's a sturdy shooter and I am not afraid to scratch it up. Not the lightest or prettiest but neither am I

That stock seems pretty good to me so far! Had one on my 243 for a while. It does add weight but is a solid option for a good aftermarket stick at a reasonable price.
