Question on Kuiu packs

I was all hot to buy a KUIU pack until I tried somebody else's ICON PRO and yet another's ULTRA (yes they fit)

Very comfortable for a pack-in weight as mentioned.  100 lb pack felt like it was trying to eat my alive

If you're a hundred pounds of game meat in a pack you eat the back trying to carry you ...  it's what you do!

Go with the bigger bag.I have the ultra 3000 and I'm thinking about getting the 6000 it cinches down just as small as the 3000 . Great pack you'll like it very. light and strong  I have some pics of mine cinched down if you would like to see it

My hunting partner runs the 6000 for overnights and the 3200 as a day pack. He's considering selling the 3200 for the same reasons. The 6000 compresses to almost nothing. He likes the way it rides compared to the 3200. He says the load seems distributed more evenly.

I have both the pro in 1850 and 5200.  I often go alone and over prepared so the 1850 is a bit small.  If it had a lid it would be perfect. 

If you get dirt between the frame it'll squeak, but the material makes no more noise than you would.

Are you saying that the 100 lbs was bad with the Ultra? If so, get 8t adjusted right. I own the ultra, icon, couple eberle's, and a couple kifaru's. When adjusted properly, the ultra packs equally as nice as the kifaru's. Go 130# and there's a difference. Adjusted perfectly makes all the difference.

I think the ultras are pretty awesome for what they are...it's really a pack you can get by with in every situation to an extent...but if your going to be doing exclusive heavy loads there could be better options or should I say more comfortable options...but even after a couple grueling packs I'm not by any means going off in search of more padding

The exo looks to be a winner aswell
