I'm gonna buy my wife a new pair of binocs - either 10x42 or -10x50.
If you were gonna spend less than $500.00 - what would you choose?

Vortex Viper HD 10x42. You can usually find a very quality used set for $475ish on Rokslide or AT. Or $550 new. Is it Elknut on here who sells them too?

Actually just went with the Cabelas Outfitters HD 12x50. Seems like pretty good glass- and was clearer and brighter than the viper hd
